Argentinian Ribeye
Too much Gimmick. Been there 6 7 times since 2019 but stopped going, wanted to give a try for NYE but nothing improved.
1) 120 menu tastes the same as their regular tasting menu but double the price.
2) okay, the DJ was there probably that's why it was double the price, thou dinner started around 7 and we arrived at 7:30 but DJ came at 9:30 and was still testing the sound, very unpleasant. Been to Hilton Westin all the 5* for NYE but their music would start when the dinner starts. Paid double the price really for nothing.
3) Again, same issue as before, cold plates for hot food, imagine a rib eye or hot dish, on a COLD plate, nothing is more unpleasant than having a cold plate.
4) waiter waitresses passing all the time, but yet do not pick up the small plate on the table that we requested for Lemon for water, they were left on the edge of the table so hopefully someone can pick them up. The best service is when you don't feel the staff is around, but yet 1 waiter constantly looks into your plate to see if you are finished or not, not comfy.

So we took the degustation menu we expected a nice romantic dinner but instead we had a dinner with the most awful service we had in this island. We were seating outside with the fabulous view but we were ignored so many times by the staff. It took literally around 3 hours in get all our dishes. The drinks were a big not again, my boyfriend had to stand up more than once and at the end got the cutlery by himself. We had different waiters all the time but it seems that we were invisible for real. The dishes in another hand were stunning and really well done.

Stunning food at a reasonable price. Would love to try the tasting menu next time. Very accomodating for dietary requirements (as I am gluten free) and I didn’t feel like this was an afterthought.
Definitely try to sit out on the deck when you reserve. We chose the wine cave which is actually just located next to the wine room, not a cave as such. It was a busy night but sitting here we did feel a bit forgotten by the staff. Our dinner took 3 hours and we just had 3 courses.
Overall a great experience. Surprisingly the rocket risotto was the stand out dish.

Great place, amazing location with beautiful sea and Valletta city walls view.
Food was amazing, delicious with colorful taste. The service was poor very slow and not smooth. Not enjoyable ordering process. Wine was delivered 45min after we have arrived, we could have order 2 bottles during that time but they missed the business:)

Great experience at Chophouse! The food was excellent and they had several vegetarian options. I particularly loved one of the starters, the Celeriac Pastrami, a vegan dish which left me positively surprised! Even the desserts were absolutely delicious and they were desserts that you don’t usually find in other restaurants! About the service, it was OUTSTANDING. You are greeted by smiles when you get in and they pay attention to your every need. Ludovica took great care of us! The views are also breathtaking, will definitely go back:)

Absolutely AMAZING! Best restaurant in Malta. We tried the degustation menu with wine pairing and it was fantastic. Excellent price point for the value. Service was great and the views of Valleta are amazing. Highly recommend.

Went to chophouse for a birthday dinner and needless to say it was one of the best dining experiences on the island! Starter ravioli was amazing, lamb and ribeye cooked perfectly! A little bit more on the expensive side when compared to other restaurants but worth it! Service was fantastic and staff was extremely friendly. I phoned last minute and although they were fully booked managed to fit our table in! :)
Will dine here again for sure ❤️
