I live close to the 40 Hwy location and choose to drive out of my way to have delicious chicken with friendly customer service. This crew is excellent and humble when thanked in person. I've got really good service from this place for the last 3 or 4 years. They used to have lots of problems but it's pretty good now. One thing though, a lot of times you have to tell them again what you want when you move up to the window.. It's mostly one of their workers.. I want to churches chicken on Noland Road and for the second time in as many weeks they had no gizzards. I had to drive all the way over to 23rd Street west of Sterling. I wanted to be sure that they had gizzards there so I called and the pleasant and kind lady said they did. I order two batches And they were ready when I got there. One of the better Church’s in town! We just left the one closest to our home by Chrisman and we are consistently having issues over there. That one never has items in stock. Just an awful establishment. Finally we decided we were going to another Church’s because the family was craving it! We drove to the closest one and we had the best service we’ve ever experienced with any Church’s. They were super quick, extremely polite, repeated the order back correctly, and we watched the whole staff work together and efficiently. They deserve some recognition. We will always come here. Helped a friend move from this lovely neighborhood and needed a quick bite to fuel my body. Walked in and was surprised to see that the kitchen was pretty clean, as was the rest of the establishment. Bought the 10 legs and thighs for 13.00. Was very good. Hot and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The man at the counter was very swift and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised. Went around 4pm today, my chicken strips were COLD and tasted like they were a day old. Our mac n cheese was mush and tasted like they re-heated it and added water it was so old and mushy it looked like mashed potatoes. I'm very disappointed I wasted my money on nasty re-heated food. I would've gone back up there but they ofcourse didn't answer the phone and I already drove all the way back home.
