This bar and McDowell House Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. Here you will be offered nicely cooked swiss burgers, calamari and prawns. Try good waffles, cheesecakes and brownies. It's nice to order delicious bourbon, Mimosas or beer. According to the guests' opinions, waiters offer great coffee. You can enjoy live music in the evening. Energetic employees meet you at Copper & Oak all year round. The homey decor and nice atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. While nearly every aspect of Copper and Oak exceeded our expectations for a first visit, the hostess single-handedly jeopardized the experience from the start. Though we were able to look past her discourteous reception, her behavior left a lasting negative impression. The food proved to be incredible and the smoky old-fashioned cocktail stood out as the best I've ever tasted. However, when we approached the rude hostess at the end of our meal, she offered nothing more than flimsy justifications for her unacceptable conduct. It's unfortunate that her unprofessionalism cast a shadow over an otherwise delightful evening. Moving forward, I hope the management at Copper and Oak will address this issue to prevent other patrons from enduring such unpleasant encounters. With some staff training and accountability, they can uphold the welcoming atmosphere that their excellent food and drinks deserve. The service was impeccable & the food was even better. We live close by & wanted to try a nice, unique spot. This is it. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had & the chicken was moist, no gristle, and cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come try again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Didn't know what to expect walking in, I was greeted by a very enthusiastic host... loved the ambiance immediately, it felt warm and inviting... Our waiter was absolutely the best, he was willing to answer any questions we had about the food, the flavors and was very attentive not just to us but everyone... The food was Devine, the calamari was fresh and delicious, the poutine was spot on, the charcuterie board was well prepared, fried green tomatoes were a treat and the Brussels are one of a kind... Best Calamari haven't had this good calamari since back in Portland Oregon sushi place... most places around here just have rings this place has the whole thing the tentacles and rings and the sauce!!!! Outta this world 10/10 definitely coming back even if its just for Calamari!!!
