Stopped here for dinner with my daughters on a Thursday evening. Wasn't very busy when we came in. The waitstaff was kind and professional. The food came out in a timely manner and hot. One of my daughters order spaghetti but instead of spaghetti noodles it was made with spiral pasta which she wasn't happy with. Both of my daughters chose fresh fruit as one of their sides and it was a cup of sliced strawberries. I assumed it was a mix of fruit. My burger was pretty greasy but it was still a good burger. Not sure if they were having a great day but it was for sure contagious. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The food was good and I really had a fun time which is odd for me to say about a restaurant. They were expedient and clean. Way to go guys! My name is Fredrick. On 2/4/2024, I arrived at Cotton Patch in Cedar Hill off 67 south 5:15p.m.. I ordered take out. While waiting for several minutes for my food, I noticed the wait and kitchen staff. Each of them were touching, rubbing their faces and running fingers through their hair. I pulled one young to the side and made him aware when handling people food, do not touch hair. It is not sanitary. He acknowledged my concern. I was then approached by Manager not to address the worker...I told him I witnessed other staff exhibiting same unsanitary habits.. No one had on gloves or washed their hands afterwards...the male staff had uncontrolled hair. The female hair was pulled back professionally in a pony tail.. the males should wear hair nets or hat.. no hair should be flying possibly to land in my food... Since, the manager response was I did not see, I canceled my order. They refunded my card. My last words was I will never visit this location as longs as this manager and staff is here with their nasty food handling habits.. The food receives 1 star because there was a possibility of hair fall out and contamination from dirty hands... Service Take out Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Caleb was a great waiter. He was patient and took time to find out if something was available to our liking. He was apologetic for the delays on our appetizers and checked on us regularly. Getting home with our to go order was a surprise as it was not the item we ordered but Cotton Patch was closed so I could not call to let them know we think we received food that was meant for someone else. I called in an order I came In to pick it up no one greeted me until the nice Manger came in from the back n noticed my frustration. My food was sitting there for 4 min and the employees where ignoring me. I called gm was thrilled with his response. If you good food and service go to Dave or Cotton Patch in Mansfield. Great place to keep belly and taste happy. Food is great and good variety. Nice atmosphere and set up of the location. Every time I went, it was clean and spotless. Good service and reasonable price for the size of the serving. Will recommend for sure. My food was great! It was fresh and came out rather quick. My waiter, Brandon, was super helpful and very polite. My issue with this location is that it always smells weird. As soon as you walk through the door, it smells like sewage or something. Today was my first time using their restroom and it was messy. But there were 4 employees and a manager sitting at a table relaxing (maybe they were having a team meeting). So I’ll start with the good. I’m only giving the service a three star rating because my waiter was awesome. He was kind and apologetic for keeping my family waiting 20 min at the table before being helped. His name is Dillion and he even left such a kind hand written note on my receipt which really touched my heart. Also the food was hot. Tasted well and the family loved it. They offer military discount. The negative…they too forever to sit me and my three children under 6. Also, other waiters walked past me and continually avoided eye contact. For that I will not be in attendance to this cotton patch again. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

First time eating there and the service and food was delicious! I wish the pork chops had sometime of glaze sauce(still good w/o). Very friendly and home style feeling. My mom and I were seated quickly and greeted nicely. The restaurant was really clean and the customer service was great. The only problem was that mom's meatloaf was undercooked, so we had to send that back. My meal on the other hand was delish. Our waiter Lee made sure to correct that problem for us. So yes we'll be back to try them again due to such great service.
