Food was above average but not great. We were there on a Sunday, so that could be my fault. The service was on point even though they were super busy and short-handed. The store front is too jammed up with kitch to be able to move around easily even if it wasn't crowded. They need to expand the store front or remove anout a third of the roadside attractions. Tyler is THE BEST server!! We just left like 40 seconds ago, and I already gotta leave a review cause I need y’all to know: That dude is ON POINT- and he listens to what you want and helps you get exactly what it is you’re looking for. If there was a picture in the dictionary beside the words “quality”, “excellence”, and “customer service”… Tyler’s picture would be right there- I swear. Our food was BANGIN’, too. I got the Biscuit Benny with a side of hash brown casserole and fried apples. Oooo, I’m stuffed! Hubby got the Grandma’s sampler that comes with three meats, two eggs, and a side. Y’all, I’m so serious, we could NOT have had a better experience. If you go( and you better go), ask for Tyler!! He makes you feel right at home, takes care of you, and treats you like you’re riding first class on a plane. I felt like I had a crown on my head or something. I came into the store on my way home from work. When I checked in I was told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. I decided to stay and waited. I was shown my sheet and I waited for a server to come and take my order. I waited 10-15 minutes before anyone came to take my order. I place my order for grilled chicken tenders and vegetables. The waiter told me it would be 40 minutes before I got my food. After waiting 45 minutes to even be seated and waited on, now he wants me to wait another 45 minutes on my food. To say the least I was very displeased and I left without ordering anything. If that is going to be the practice at Cracker Barrel, I will not be back and I love to eat at Cracker Barrel. I even asked for Cracker Barrel gift cards at Christmas. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter. Everything was perfect. The overall chemistry from greeting to checking out was awesome. Xavier gave us the best service at this Cracker Barrel we had in years. Past experience at this location as well as others have been mediocre but this time they laid out the red carpet.
