I am only giving the two stars because the server was amazing. The food took forever, when they gave it to us it was cold. The people around us were also was also waiting for their food. The food was not all that, some of it was cold. We got our drinks and bread right away but everything took for ever the apps and the entrees. They need to so something with that kitchen, we waited an hour for our food for some of our food. Most of our order were apps and one big entree. The server kept checking on us and letting us know the food was being made and there was a wait but we probably won't be coming back. We were very apprehensive to go to this location. The last few visits we were either told there would be an hour - an hour and half wait (even though 2/3 of the dining room was empty) or the time we were seated we waited an hour for our food and when it came out, some sides were missing. Rather than saying they were out, the waiter tried to pass it off. When I asked, he said they were out. He asked if I wanted something else and I said I didn't want to wait another hour, so I sent everything back. Fast forward about a month. We went in last night, were seated within five minutes of entering and our waitress was one of the best we've had in ANY restaurant. When we asked about a certain side, she made a face and said they may be out - she checked BEFORE we completed the order. Luckily the side was available. The food was delicious, came out in a timely manner and our waitress kept our beverages filled and made sure we wanted for nothing. This trip restored our faith in Cracker Barrel and we will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We arrived at 4:20pm, about 5 minutes later than the rest of the people in our party. They already had a table, and drinks, and the toddler at the table had his fruit cup. Nothing wrong with that. Then we got out drinks and asked for a couple items for our toddler, who was really hungry. We asked for fries and a fruit cup. Literally as soon as we got to the table. I ended up having to take our son outside to look at planes while we waited for them to grow the potatoes, and harvest the fruit from their original plants. The waiter came by multiple times before that happened. Multiple times. We even explained that the fruit and fries were for the 18month old boy who was struggling to keep it together. He assured us he was on it. He was not. The high temp was 32, and that very certainly happened well before we arrived. When we came back in after a few minutes of walking through the store and braving the cold air to look at the planes, the fruit had arrived. By 554pm, one adult at the table had been able to eat their meal. Two of the four adult orders were missing crucial elements. The catfish was missing. The hamburger steak was hard as a brick. The salad was missing. I’ve literally never seen 4 meals get brought out at such vastly different times. The plates were incredibly hot…meaning they were sitting out waiting for quite some time. People all around us were getting food in a timely fashion. This Cracker Barrel is the absolute worst. Two of the four adults left with their food in To Go boxes. Only one of which contained the actual order. One of the adults left without eating. The to go order that was placed at the beginning of this whole evening literally never got brought out. I have never had a worse experience at any restaurant I’ve ever been too. And it’s not even close. Avoid this establishment at all costs. Unless your melanin is significantly lighter than mine. Like I said, the people all around us were eating in a timely fashion. People who came after us got food and finished and new people got seated while we were there. 0/10 do not recommend. Absolutely horrible experience here. We went in (party of 4) and even though there was hardly anyone in there, we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. That’s perfectly fine; we figured they must be short-staffed. We sat down and went ahead and gave our order to the waitress. 50 minutes later, our food had still not arrived (we still had a 1.5 hour drive home), so we asked our waitress if she had an idea of when it would be ready. Then she got an attitude and told us she would check. She came back and told us they were short-staffed in the kitchen and that the average time people were having to wait for food is about an hour and 15 minutes or more and that there were still six tables ahead of us waiting for their food, then asked if she wanted us to get the manager, like that was supposed our food come faster? She just walked off and it was about five more minutes and we still hadn’t seen her again, so we just left. No apologies, nothing. This is something that needs to be communicated to customers upon their arrival bc the majority of people may not wait to wait well over an hour for their food. I have never had a bad experience at a Cracker Barrel until tonight. Do better. Communication is always key. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
