We had not been to the Cracker Barrel in Lincoln for quite sometime now and now I remember why. Our server was terrible!! She forgot to put our food in after we ordered so we sat there forever waiting on our food. When our food finally came out it wasn’t right. Some of the food was cold, some of it was overcooked, and some of it was missing. By the time it was corrected we were ready to go. It was also very overpriced for what we received. We won’t be going back…..EVER!!! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We had a party of 13. They were very busy. But some of us could not even eat our food after waiting 1 hour for it. The eggs were like rubber the pancakes were like cardboard. Even the hashbrown casserole which was always so good. Did not taste good at all. The waitress did fine. But you really need to teach the cooks how to cook. We were very disappointed. First I would like to say our server tried their best, but after an almost 2 hour wait we finally got our food. The couple we were with ordered chicken and dumplings which were cold. We never got refills on drinks and the chicken strips my 87 year old mother ordered were so hard she couldn’t eat them. There was no bus person so the waitress had to bus her tables and larger tables that came on and ordered after we did got served first. While I understand that it was a busy Sunday, no one should have to wait that long and then be thrown plastic silverware on the table, to eat with. Management never even came and apologized or even helped. One waitress can only do so much, especially when her entire section was full. One couple actually got up and left. If it wasn’t for the fact that this establishment caters to country cooking we might have left as well. I know this is a long review but at least it isn’t 2 hours long. Waited 7 to 10 minutes to get seated when it wasn't crowded at 2:15pm. Best thing of whole experience yesterday was the waitress set us in middle section and restarted fireplace. After ordering drinks it went downhill. Got my coffee almost cold. Had to wait at least 15 minutes to ask for a hot cup which I then got because the waitress finally came back to get our food order. My wife did not get any syrup for her pancakes till we asked for it when she was half done. There were only two other groups of people (2 each group) in the whole middle section. By the time we left it took more than an hour and 1/2. We waited and waited for our bill so after about 20 minutes I got up to find the waitress but wasn't successful. I told my wife to go look at the store items while I continued to wait. She luckily was able to talk to the waitress who then brought the bill to me. Also most of that last twenty minutes we were last group in the whole middle section. Very bad service except for starting the fireplace!!! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
