We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and decided to give it a try. Such a unique restaurant with the water flowing over the tin roof and splashing down into the pond filled with Koi fish. The prime rib was delishly smoked and the sweet potato fries are amazing but when dipped into whipped cream, the of over the top. Almost a funnel cake flavor. The burger was the best we have ever had and the ribeye's flavor was superb. Loved the Pina colodas and the lemon drop martini. I finally had a chance to eat here last weekend, and I wasn't disappointed. I think this is going to be my new favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg. I had the southwestern chicken and they prepared it exactly how I requested. I got a side salad and the sweet potato waffle fries with my meal, and everything including my pepsi, tasted perfect! I may have to try one of the steaks, next time. Josh waited on me, and he's one of the best waiters I've ever had. I'm ready to go back next weekend. 12/31/23: This time I had the filet mignon with the same sides. I couldn't have the seasoning, because it had pepper in it, but it was still good. It did have some fat in it, but not much. Service was excellent again. I may try the flounder & shrimp next time. The chocolate cake was pretty good too. I was from out of town and came across this restaurant to host my small lunch wedding reception. I was beyond happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't have wanted my reception anywhere else. They were really easy and quick to communicate with which put me at ease since I had never been there before in person. Our waiter was great and they even served our wedding cake for us. They let us come the night before to decorate our party room. We'll definitely be back for our anniversary for years to come. We went early (5 pm, because I don't like driving on unfamiliar mountain roads in the dark) and there were only two other tables. Got busier when we were about done. Our server (John, I think) was amazing and friendly. He didn't ever seem frustrated, even when I spilled my water. ( Tables are grippy materials so nothing will slide, which I tried to slide my water out of the way.) Food was great. We got fried mushrooms and fried catfish bites as appetizers. Husband and I both got the 20 oz steak with two sides. The Mac n cheese is good, but nothing special about it. The mushrooms and onions were delicious! All in all it was a great place for our anniversary dinner and kind of happy our original dinner planned place was closed. It was so unique. They have water running off the roof to appear it is raining and there's an awesome view of the creek and woods behind the restaurant. The food was good. I had the Prime Rib. It was very tasty. I also had a side salad and sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing. Crispy and dusted with brown sugar. My Dad had the ribs. He said the taste was good but they had a lot of gristle. My mom had the Southwestern Chicken and said it was okay. I would definitely go again.
