Absolutely beats Lakeshore and El Popo! Best breakfast we've had in years! Food is always so good there, and they are so patient with my our elderly Grandparents. Jennifer made our breakfast especially pleasant. She is an excellent waitress with great people skills. Thanks a bunch Jennifer and whoever was at the grill ! This is a super friendly place, and the staff are awesome. The food is very well priced for the portions, and they serve breakfast all day. Small downside. This is a home town diner with home town food. It is made with care and not a commercial restaurant. This is what you should get in a small town. Out of my 5 visits the food is always on point and exceptional. Prices are what they should be and not inflated. This is what you should get when going to a small town 100%. Biscuits and gravy are some of the best I have ever had. Edit* I didn't mention it was for 2 people. Really enjoyed this place. Cozy, the service was prompt and friendly. We* had breakfast, the food was very good. Had omelette, hash browns, English muffin and pancake for breakfast. Not sure whether I walked in starving or what but the food was fabulous! I am a picky eater btw. The employees were very nice too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You can't beat the prices. We were visiting from out of town for a few days and stopped in for the sampler. The staff was great, the food was fresh, and there was enough for 2 of us to share. We did save some room for ice cream later. I think we'll be back in town next year and this cafe is already on the list for at least one meal. Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices, Great Location. We had 3 Perch meal specials for less than $30.00. The perch was phenomenal. The potato skins are unlike anything I"ve ever had and are a must to try if you've never had them before. Delicious. Worth the drive. We came down from Waupaca but were traveling from out of state.
