Paid for large dipped cone was no where near a large when they handed it to me I asked is this a large oh yes said the girl I complained and they said they would weigh it ...walks back up and straight up lies to my face and says yes it weighs 10 once I say you wouldn't mined showing me that scale would you ...oh no it's in the back how convenient total garbage not only will I never go back to this dairy queen I will never go to a dairy queen again ANYWHERE!!! This was in Brookings, Oregon. I had a hamburger to go. When I got home, thank God I opened up My burger to add salt. I found a fingernail decal on my hamburger!! Stopped here for ice cream after dinner. They were a little slow to wait on us inside, but a nice young man eventually took our order. The drive thru was pretty busy, but it didn’t take too long for our two ice creams. What DID take a while is for them to hand it to us. The restaurant seems a little older. We ordered 4 meals and all had meals had atleast one hair in it. None of the food safety protocols were followed. We tried calling and emailing but no one answered. There are a lot of choices in town and there is a reason this place has a full parking lot. The manager really took wonderfully kind care of us despite our large family (road trip stop) inadvertently causing a bottleneck in the line during a busy time, and the young man (who was new) taking our order was very kind and patient as well. Thank you for helping us feel welcome and cared for despite the stresses in the situation, and going above and beyond by unexpectedly bringing our food to the table. We ordered a lot of different items for our group and everything was delicious. We'll remember the way you made us feel. It made a difference in our day.
