Okay so they are not kidding. The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely insane. Legit top tier. Haven't had a better one than these. Cinnamon roll too had a ton of frosting and was warmed to perfection but I was too distracted by how good it looked to get a pic of it while it was still looking presentable. But you can trust me on this for real lol. Seriously tho the homemade biscuits are worth fighting wars over. I would enlist. I only took the time to get these photos because they were so beautiful that I actually felt bad biting into them. Once I did, I very much took my sweet time to eat these. The thought of them being a finite resource was (and still is) truly heartbreaking. Needless to say I will be a return customer.

The cakes look a lot prettier than some of the other pictures on here. The place is a bit hard to find since it's in an apartment building/complex, but the service is nice if a tad slow. The cakes are super dense and heavy, but not in a bad way (at least for the rest velvet cake). I personally really liked the cake here and would come here again.

SO SO SO SO GOOD like unbelievable. Absolutely to best cake I’ve ever had. I got the chocolate hazelnut and it was crazy delicious and I can’t wait to try the rest of the cakes and other items from Darnel’s. RUN DON’T WALK HERE!!!

In one word...WOW! I got my husband's birthday carrot cake from Darnell's this year and it was the best carrot cake we've both ever had. Everything about it was perfection and everyone that works there was a pleasure to interact with. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We used Darnel's for our wedding cake, and we couldn't have asked for anything more delicious! The cake was incredible, and Kyle and his team were also extremely responsive and incredibly easy to work with. We got compliment after compliment, and our only regret is that we didn't have time to eat more! We will continue to use Darnel's for all future birthdays and events and couldn't speak more highly of their service or product.

The chicken salad sandwich was excellent, but I thought the place would be warmer and more welcoming. The people who worked there were nice, and the baked goods looked so delicious. I might go there again someday.

I failed to plan ahead and needed a birthday cake on short notice, and am so happy I found Darnel's! I ordered the chocolate hazelnut and carrot cakes 2 days in advance of when I needed them and WOW. Soooo good! They were both huge hits at our party. Aside from the deliciousness, the ordering and pick up process were both seamless. Really happy to have such an awesome and convenient bakery in the neighborhood! Looking forward to trying more goodies from here!

Everything they make is delicious. Love the biscuits and breakfast sandwiches (with the Thai shallot mayo), and the slices of loaf cakes hit the spot. Have never had anything bad or mediocre from here -- even the coffee is great.
