I love this place and routinely eat breakfast there whenever I visit my family in Garland. But yes, there's one caveat - in my past three visits there, having ordered over-medium eggs, they are inevitably delivered as over-easy. For me, that's not a particularly egregious act, but it is an undesirable act nonetheless, thus I must voice it before it becomes engrained into my psyche and begins the process of transformation from a meek and unnoticed booky into a gargantuan, green beast with ears of horns, eyes of lasers, and an aroma competing with the most foul of bovine excrement.
But, overall, thumbs up!!!

Meat Lovers Omelette
We ate at Darren’s for the first time Friday night 2/23 and loved it. Service and food were excellent. We will make it one of our favorite places from this point forward. I am already planning to go there for breakfast. Perfect combination of restaurant, sports bar, and neighborhood bar type. Clean and friendly.
