Our first visit. We really enjoyed it. The staff was amazing- attentive from start to end. We sat in the bar. It was dinner time on a busy Friday and every table was full. It was a bit loud but the energy was great. We ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, the Mac and cheese and the beef ribs. My favorite were the Brussels sprouts - so delicious. The pork belly was cooked nicely but not needed.

Food is great. We had some tapas, and we also had some main entrees. I like my Salmon bowl and the mussels and sausage bowl. My husband was happy with his Argentine sausage dish. The Gaucho bread was phenomenal.
For this place, the service was lackluster. They seemed irritated when I asked them to pick up the empty dishes. Two major complaints I have - one, they sat us at a very small table, so we had quite a few tapas. The table was packed! They didn't space it out, instead they just kept bringing the food out. So we were rushing to empty the plates, and putting them in one plate, but they were not quick to come around and pick them up. I had to flag one down to get their attention.
The other major complaint - they put us in an area that is so dark. I mean we used our flashlights to look at the menu. We used the flashlights to look at the food we ordered. I also took pictures, and I said, "ah, that's what my plate looks like".
I mean I expected a little more from this place. Kind of disappointed.

Went here for brunch on a recommendation. Great selection of menu options. The food was delicious, and it was definitely a great value.
Service was ok. No coffee refills and not much attention beyond taking our order. It was a bit disappointing given the rest of the experience. Will try it again for dinner.

Had dinner a couple of nights in the lounge area. Service was good and food came out quick. The skirt steak was delicious!

SUPERB SUBURBAN SPOT
Who woulda thought a hotel restaurant could be AMAZING? DeFuego has it all. Excellent food, great value, wonderful staff (thank you Aspen), and a parking lot. The fools from Portland think it’s too far to drive to Clackamas and I hope they never figure out how close it actually is.
Very comfortable dining room with a fireplace in the middle sets a great ambience.
We wanted to try ALL THE THINGS the first time we went and settled on the below. The only thing that wasn’t fantastic was the gravy, but alas I am not much of a breakfast gravy person anyway.
Ecuadorian Shrimp Ceviche: Good amount of shrimp, but I would’ve liked my onion sliced thinly.
Jamon Burrata: Delcious and worth getting. Why haven’t I been frying my bread?
Chorizo & Fondue: Excellent
Breakfast Asado for 2: Excellent sauces and perfectly cooked steak. This may be enough for three “normal” eaters.
