I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Perfectly located right at the recreational area Loosdrechtse plassen boasting a long stretched gras strip and one of the best natural waters to swim in, De Strook offers a wide arrange of quick but filling meals. The food is decent, everything you could want after a day on the water; just simple but flavorful. Friendly staff and really nice seating area overlooking the water. Main attraction is the location. And there is nothing better than to be able to get a nice quick meal or drink when spending the day with this beautiful scenery. Would 100% come back. Great food and friendly service, nice location. Just for a early morning coffe, a very nice lunch close to the waterfront.. or just a nice wine and having a relaxing time, looking over the Loosdrechtse plassen.. or ending with a romantic dinner, and see the sun going down.. a must do when in the area.. This was a great place to stop during a bike ride. Service was quick. The bitterballen and goat cheese salad were excellent. The brownie, however, was terrible. I thought it was great that they have a shelf of board games.

This is a great little place with a quirky beach pavilion feel to it at the edge of the water. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. There's a shelf of games to borrow if you need something to help you pass the time. Limited range (but decent) of beer on tap or by bottle. Glad we stopped off here.

Beach, lawn, bar, restaurant. Great place to spend a sunny day. Parking can be crowded on a good day. Better to arrive early or come by bike. The picture is from the road next to the parking place on a sunny Sunday

Always the best place to be to have the best sunset and to swim or to walk around and to eat something if need it.
