Scam! NOT worth a visit. They put very different prices on the bill than on the menu. The mussels come with one small salad and sauces. If two people (each one full portion) order mussels, you only get one small salad and one set of sauces. You have to pay extra for another small salad and sauces. It is ridiculous! They serve dirty plates and after mentioning it, they say, you don’t have to eat from them. Putting away the plates and leftover food, the waitresses ask you to help. What kind of service is this? In the meantime this place became one of our favorites. Good tasty food and friendly service. Dessert, dame blanche, forgot to take a picture, was served in a plate with a rough surface that makes a disturbing grinding sound when scooping ice cream... very annoying when you try to get the last bits of ice cream and chocolate sauce from you plate. 😒. It’s disappointed that the mussel festival is cancelled and we came for nothing! Sadly the information about the festival is still on the website, people were not well informed at all. The service of this place is not friendly, when we sit at the table where the whole place is quite empty, we’ve been told that table is reserved and we need to leave. Plus the lady at the bar refuse to offer some tap water just so I can make milk to feed the baby, I’ve been told to get water from the toilet. The tour guide is a total spam. It’s a tour of 1.5 hour and it’s introduced as we can see lobster, Oyster and mussels. Waste of 9 euro per person that we indeed saw these things but as dead shells and 2half dead lobster from the restaurant water tank. This is a pure spam and animal abuse. We didn’t expect this to happen in a dutch town. Disappointment on every level, rude people, spam tour guid and poor festive organizations. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

2 adults and 2 kids. We weren't impressed by the food. The starters were much better on flavours (coquilles, gambas) but the main dishes were quite flat in flavours and everything is served with low quality French fries. La ubicación del lugar es fantástico, pero la atención deja mucho que desear, estas mujeres que atienden parecen estar molestas con la vida. Aún no e traían la comida pero ya me quiero ir, definitivamente no ha sido una buena experiencia!

The restaurant is simple and pleasant with a nice view on the bay. The service is horrible. The waiters were unpleasant both in English and Dutch languages. It took more than an hour to be served. After my complaint the waiters just said the kitchen was busy (the restaurant was half empty), no apologies for the delay or any sign or speeding up. The food was very good. The tuna stake was cooked perfectly, roasted outside and tender inside. The mussels could almost melt in the mouth with a nice flavor (natural, beer, wine). Fries well deep-fried and good selection of sauces. A one due to bad service otherwise it would be a much higher score. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–40

We arrived in the harbor around lunch during holidays so obviously very busy at this place, funny entrance for the restaurant through the shop, personnel was very friendly, restaurant itself a bit outdated but maybe in style, toilets very new and clean. The mussels were good, the plaice fillets was very salty accompanying viognier compensated for that.

Don't think this place needs any more recommendations. Insanely fresh fish and chips. Fish was crispy, perfectly salted and buttery as heaven. Plus.....personal preference, but they serve hoegaarden :D
