I appreciate saving money on purified drinking water by filling up my 5 gallon bottles from their vending machine near the back of the store. It's so easy and tastes great.
Wonderful hometown market with excellent customer service. Always nice to shop local. They have a great selection at good prices.
I try not to go too often and do my shopping when I have to go to Rapid, but the service typically makes up for some of that - until today.
Terrible customer service from the cashier Kathy.
She was finishing a transition when I approached the register. She looked around at the other registers like she was going to send me to a different cashier; all registers were full.
No greeting of any kind. She called for carry out assistance, and when the young man arrived she asked him to get the 12pk of Pepsi on the bottom of my cart complaining that she couldn't tell if there was 1 or 2 and she wasn't going to get it because her back hurt. She said it in a way that made it sound like I shouldn't have put it there.
She then asked if he needed help taking my groceries out which was less than 8 bags, 2 - 12pks, a bag of potatoes, and a water bottle refill.
She still had never once acknowledged me; I spoke up and said I would take the bags that he couldn't fit. Why the bottom shelf wasn't used, I have no idea. She then told him he still had a big jug of water to take; again she said it with an attitude like that was horrible of me to purchase. She then sent another older lady out with my cart and water.
Thankful the young man was as polite as always, but they seriously need to rethink having Kathy as a customer facing position.
A good grocery store for such a small town but way too expensive. They have a goid selection of almost everything and a good stock. Nice and courteous employees. Only bad thing is the price of almost everything is at least twice the price of walmart. Sometimes 3 or 4 times. Will drive 1.5 hrs to go to Gillette if I'm doing a large shopping trip.
