Great place to play golf

3 guests and myself went to the course this am to play a round of golf. We paid and got our cart keys. The pro shop staff told us they were in a frost warning so teeing off would be delayed. We loaded our carts up and waited patiently at the number 1 tee on the car path for the pro shop to tell us the frost had cleared and we were good to tee off. Unfortunately then things went south. We were then verbally abused and harassed by the course superintendent Rex in his gator vehicle. He drove up and cursed at us (many F bombs) and told us the course was closed to leave the property. Threatened to fight us also. We had to get the local sheriff involved because Rex was being verbally abusive and threatening my guests if we didn’t leave immediately. We did nothing wrong. Long story short we drove all the way out here to play a round and got abused verbally and didn’t play a single hole of golf. We will not be coming back and will be actively spreading the word to get this guy Rex fired due to this dreadful and abusive experience.

We go here for food when we are down at the lake. We wish they were open more because we are generally very happy with the food, price and service. I like the breakfast most of all. It’s delicious and very reasonable.

This is one of the only courses that is green this time of year, the staff is the most friendly I have ever met at any course and the food is really good as well! I live over 2 hours away amd will absolutely be back!

Stop in for lunch with my family. Excellent service! Food was very good. Clean and open space. If we had known about the restaurant before lunch we would have spent breakfast with them too. Very fair priced The waitress was very friendly and outgoing.

I would give it a higher score if the front 9 were not horribly maintained. The back 9 is really good. They need to redo the front.

I do not golf but for years enjoyed the food and watching night golf or watching different tournaments. The employees are always very kind and professional.
