The space is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I have been to just grab a bite in the daytime and also for a show in the evening, two totally different experiences and both worth the trek to Martindale.
A hidden gem in Martindale, TX! They truly pulled out all the stops with the historically accurate revival of this place. It’s a bartender’s dream setup, a musician’s ideal, intimate, big sound venue, and a foodie’s haven all in one. Whether you go for a cold beer or a snazzy cocktail, a great show with sought-after talent, fantastic chef-inspired bites, a history lesson of all things Martindale Motor Co. (Hupmobile), or just a low-key hang with quality folks, it’s a guaranteed great time. Katie, Ryan, Chef Jeff and the crew at Duett’s are doing it right. It’s kid-friendly with a playscape out back, TVs at the bar, and you can even Airbnb the beautifully furnished flats upstairs for a reasonable nightly rate. Well worth the short drive to downtown Martindale to check it all out—it’ll be your new favorite spot, no doubt.
My wife and I are riding the Hill Country bike ride out of Austin. 1st stop was Martindale and Duett’s was the perfect place to stop for dinner. Burger was awesome and my wife loved the Caesar Salad with chicken. Happy Hour Lonestar beers were perfect after a day of riding
