Can we here for dinner on Feb 23rd Wasn’t busy at all. Server Eduardo was hardly around to serve. The manager lady was very nice and refilled our drinks and salsa. Eduardo wore way too much Cologne. We were practically eating it as it was lingering when he walked away or even passed us. If I had her name I’d give the manger lady 5* rating. This restaurant in cypress is terrible and worst serving than any other. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Despite it being Valentine's Day, my recent visit to El Torito left much to be desired. It had been a while since I dined with my family at El Torito, and I was eager to treat my mom for Valentine's Day. My excitement was fueled by my dad's memories of working as a cook at the El Torito in Fullerton when it first opened, where he praised the flavors and presentation of the food. However, upon revisiting, the experience fell short of expectations. I recalled my previous visit, where I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp and wings while my dad enjoyed the "Supreme Fajitas," a dish that left a lasting impression with its presentation of lighting it on fire right in front of you and it’s delectable flavor. Hoping to relive that experience, I ordered the "Ignited Fajitas Supreme" for myself and my dad. Sadly, neither of our plates were ignited, defeating the whole purpose of its name. Our food was relatively dry and lacked the flavor. Moreover, the portions, particularly of the guacamole, soft corn, and meats, were quite small. The absence of salsa or lime to enhance the flavors disappointed me even more, forcing me to rely on the salsa provided for the chips. The ambiance of the restaurant was lacking as well, with barely any music audible from our table. A lively atmosphere with fitting music adds to the dining experience, enhancing guest satisfaction. Despite our dissatisfaction, we adhered to our family's tradition of leaving a generous tip, bringing our total bill to $150. Gloria our waitress was excellent!!! At all times she was very attentive to our needs. I have been going to this location for years and even before it moved to this remodeled location. Have always been getting outstanding service from GLORIA she is the best! Please give her a well deserved raise$$$. What truly sets El Torito apart is its festive atmosphere, especially during happy hour and Taco Tuesday. It's the perfect place for a casual and fun night out. On this Tuesday's visit, we couldn't resist trying their flight of mini margaritas, featuring classic, mango, and blackberry flavors. It added a playful and lively twist to our meal, making it a memorable, fun night out.
