I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere was good however the portion size left me wanting. I got the fish fry special and with a total bill of 30 dollars with the tip i feel like I should have gotten more. The food was really good, and the waiter did a great job. But, we were in a group and several of us ordered a glass of wine or a beer. The waiter came back to the table and told us that they were out of it. And then, they would pick something else, and he would come back and greatly apologize and say they were out of that as well. One of the ladies in our group even had her third choice told that they were out of. She gave up and did not have a glass of wine with dinner. Another lady, they finally had her third choice in stock, and she had her first glass. Then, we ate dinner, and she asked for a second glass as we were going to a play following dinner. The waiter felt very bad to have to come and tell her that her third choice that she finally landed on when we got there, was now out of stock as well, 45 min later. We found that a little odd that a popular, well established, restaurant/bar would be out of that many things early on a saturday evening. It wasn't like we were in a group that was heavily drinking. We're talking about a group of ladies that were going to a play, and just wanted a cocktail with dinner. They also weren't odd choices that not many people carried. They were all just standard popular white wine choices or beer selections. This was very disappointing and almost comical. This was a 5/5 experience. Service was kind and the food was great. There has not been a human soul to eat this well in lifetimes. Unfortunately all the lights are mismatched! It’s jarring and makes the place feel off. Please fix this. I would love to come here all the time if the lightbulbs were like the ones in the center light pictured. Have been here a lot! I’ve been on so many dates here I’ve lost count. Service is inconsistent. I’ve had good experiences and really bad experiences with service here. Food is always good though! We recently had a work party in their rentable upper room and that was fabulous. If you need to rent a room for a work party I can recommend it 💯! The food at the work event was fabulous. There is a separate bar to service the party and the ambiance in the room is fabulous. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
