Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. But they had a cancellation for 2 and seated us immediately within 1.5 hours of closing. I got the organic red vanilla and my partner got the earl grey - both were delicious. They serve their tea with loose leaves and you pour it through a strainer, which leaves more sediment than most - especially when you forget to put the strainer over your cup. The desserts were good, albeit on the sweeter side. The sandwiches were nice. The scone was sizeable and dry, but good with tea. Highly recommend for the aesthetics!

This was truly AMAZING! It was my mom's birthday we drove an hour to get there. The owner was so gracious and let us sneak in on a very busy day! My mom loved it ! It was so beautiful!!! Thanks for a special day!

Had a really great time the atmosphere was beautiful and whimsicall staff was fantastic. the scones were amazing sandwiches were good. The teas were over the top delicious. My only complaint would be the desserts. Obviously store-bought which is not necessarily a bad thing. But they tasted like I was eating at a kid's birthday party straight out of a container of frosting sooo sweet we Couldn't eat any of the desserts except the cookie which was rather disappointing, but probably better for my waste line. All in all, I would definitely go band maybe order extra scones for dessert.

I've had high tea at The Embassy in Victoria, B.C. While it's formal, delicious and stuffy, the English Rose Tea Room was a wonderful and enjoyable afternoon.
A fun treat for a special celebration! The service was excellent, our party of ten enjoyed everything they ordered which was a variety of menu items. Some said their scones were soft and delicious. A few others said they were too hard and crumbly. The raspberry tea was delicious. I'm no longer a tea sipper but enjoyed two cups and would have had more. The ambiance and decor puts a smile on all the customer's faces. So much to see. Even the men, not just at our table, but the entire restaurant were enjoying their time there. They have a box of hats you can wear if you didn't bring one. Who doesn't like to "play dress up"?! Even us adults with a kid's heart!

You have to go at least once in your lifetime! A great date, girls day, mom and daughter time, even going solo for tea and scones! Children friendly, great outdoors or indoor available. Every spot is aesthetic and photo op. If you don't have a cute hat, they have some to borrow! Cute shopping items and the food was delicious! The 3 tier menu, the desserts and did I say the tea! Delicious scones! Pinky up and make some time for tea!

I've been coming to this place as a "treat yourself" place with friends and loved ones for 10 years. I have a wonderful experience every time. The staff are all very friendly and polite and the tea and snacks are delectible.
The atmosphere of the tea room is wonderful. It is so dreamy, everything is pink and flowery. My most recent visit was for an anniversary celebration with my boyfriend, we only spent about 30 dollars before tip and left satisfied.
They also have a selection of teapots and other related objects for sale, at that last visit they happened to have a Garfield teapot that I fell in love with! He is now a proud part of my collection.

Super fun cute little tea room in carefree. Definitely worth checking out at least once. Tons of tea to choose from. Food was good; we had the classic three tier lunch with little finger sandwiches, scones, and deserts. They also have other packages, salads, quiches, etc. Little gift shop too. Covered in queen Elizabeth swag!!

Such a charming little tea shop. Love how it is all British and decorated so well. I felt the service was a bit rushed, and the scones were extra dry. Finger sandwiches were very tasty and a lot of teas to try. They have cute stuff they sell.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed every bit of this place. It is very beautiful, just like the pictures but even more beautiful in person. One of my favorite things is seeing the older ladies drinking their tea, it is super adorable!!! I loved the environment and the tea was very soothing. My absolute fave was definitely the chocolate covered strawberries. I felt like a princess having tea with my girlies. I recommend this place 1000000 % if you love girly things and tea parties!!!
