I NEVER LEAVE A BAD REVIEW, BUT THIS PLACE WAS CRAP. Deserves no star . The waiter was nice (thats it). i should’ve known when they had bowls on the tables, catching the rainwater from the leaky ceiling but I didn’t notice that until after I ordered. That aside, I could’ve ignored the dripping noises and the spatter sounds if the food was good, but they couldn’t even make sausage bacon and eggs Good. The time before I went in there the power went off and They couldn’t serve us because they had to wait the fire department. I grew up around here, and I’ve always known the Fairmount was low, but even for the Fairmount diner this was low.. Make sure you have all your shots up-to-date before you go here. came in for the first time today with my mom and toddler for lunch. we had such a great experience!! i have a very active, chatty two year old and our waiter, who goes by “Q”, was AMAZING with him!! Q went out of his way to stop at our table and talk to him as he was waving pretty frequently, and gave him all different colored pens out of his apron and some paper to color on. Then we got our food which was amazing!! great portions and fantastic flavor! and once again, Q was super accommodating, grabbing us everything we needed to make our meal enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and will definitely return!! Love this place. Do most of my ordering through Door Dash and have never been disappointed or received an incorrect order. Love, love, love their breakfast menu! Great atmosphere, good service. We got the lunch special, salads were great. The burger had a fresh taste, cooked to perfection. Kathy was so great when I placed my catering order. It was for teacher appreciation week so the pto was on a budget and they were very accommodating. Forgot the butter but not enough to take off a point. The staff loved everything

Tried their split pea soup as a lunch special, and was impressed. It was great! Decided to order again, but would not recommend their other soups such as chicken pasta, or cream of potato... I did not get a chance to try the lobster bisque as there was a miscommunication, and subsequent mistake with my order. Food is expensive and always a disappointment. I tried so many things, kept giving them chances, but I did not come across one thing that was even average, not to mention good. They need to make their menu smaller and focus on improving the quality of what they offer. Food: 1

The service was very speedy, staff were super friendly, and the food is just as delicious as ever (ordered the Cancun wrap this go-around). And the fresh-squeezed orange juice was a nice addition. Also, I thank my waiter for being one of the most helpful and down-to-earth people I've been served by at any establishment (if I recall, first initial is Q). Keep it up!! A delightful place. Very homey. The service was great, everything was fresh and delicious. Clean, well maintained with a spacious outdoor seating area. The hot coco is a must along with the oats and chocolate chip pancakes. But in general, everything we got was good.
