I LOVE Fancy Lee!! It is one of the best restaurants in Babylon Village. The owners & staff are all so sweet. The food is amazing & they give large portions which is always a plus. Food was as expected but service was some of the worse I've ever encountered. It's very obvious that the place is understaffed but our waiter came off as hostile and it appeared we were bothering them by asking for drinks, sauce, plates. We asked them to cancel our appetizer 10 min after our main course has been delivered to the table but we were informed that the fried dumplings take a long time to cook so they refused and brought them out once we were all done with our main. I haven't been here in years, but I met up with a friend & thought this would be perfect spot. Needless to say I will never step foot in there again. I had gotten soup & tempura. Their food is always fresh & on point. Everyone we take here loves it. The back booth is dark but that's the only negative thing about this place. The staff was very sweet and friendly. Food portions were great&it tasted phenomenal. I did a steak hibachi dinner with fried Japanese eggplant&calamari as appetizers with my girlfriend and her family. We all enjoyed ourselves but with a bigger then 5 party seating is a tad tight. Ordered chicken and broccoli and got half a pint white rice. Chicken and broccoli feed 3 to 4 people. half a pint rice is barely enough for one person all other Chinese restaurants. The food here is always excellent. I have been eating from here since 2016 and have never had a bad experience. The delivery and pickup service really became great and the food quality has been very consistent. Always a pleasure to eat fancy Lee food! All nearly perfect!!! Only thing I was a little bit critical of is the rice...too mushy the night we had it. Otherwise, food and service were great...especially happy about the on-the-house appetizer they bring out right away. We ordered drinks and a roll and the Salmon Teriyaki and Pineapple Rice to share and the bill was about $90. I would definitely go back!!
