After reading the reviews, we were very excited to eat here. We ate dinner early and there were only 2 other tables of diners. Unfortunately, the special ribeye for $50 was so grisly and fatty that we couldn't even get 1 good bite from it. The pork porterhouse had a few good bites, then mostly was too tough to eat. No one asked why our plates were almost still full of cut up, inedible food. We were so disappointed because we really wanted to like this new, local restaurant but we won't return. We just ate lunch. Restaurant was very, very pretty. We had two entrees, bread (which was delicious), and their homemade marshmallow topped. cheese cake. Everything was great! Had a pretty good meal. It was a little costly for what I had. But when it comes to food in oak Ridge you have very little to choose from. The best part of the meal was the server. His name was Eric and he was very kind and helpful. We will come back to visit one more time to give this place a chance because there's not a lot to choose from around that area. Will try to make it work with them. I'm hoping that they'll get better at dietary restrictive food choices. I'd also advise this restaurant to be more creative with lunch specials. Lots of potential in this restaurant but it lacks creativity and originality. Successful. Restaurants need to find a staple. A reason that brings people there.
