This place is such a hidden gem and I'm happy to have discovered it. I've been here three times and all experiences were fun. The vibe of the place is friendly and family-oriented, just brings a smile to your face. Small and clean, and you can tell the owners take pride in what they do, as they should, because it's all fantastic. The one caveat is a very long wait time. On weekdays slightly after typical lunch hours it's usually only around 30 minutes to an hour wait, but I'm sure it's longer on the weekends, so it's wise to call ahead. However, I guarantee it's worth the wait.
Initially, my friend found it while we were in Cornelius and he was in the mood for a burger so we stopped by after a quick Google search of places near us. I had eaten lunch already so I wasn't hungry and had just the fries, which was already amazing. But he intrigued me by saying this was the best burger he's had in years, as he's quite a foodie and would not say that about just any meal. We came back to the area the following week for more and unfortunately I miscommunicated my order and it came with ketchup, which I do not eat. The workers felt really bad and offered to remake it though it would have a significant wait time, and I felt bad for the inconvenience as well. The son employee also offered to make a free one next time, which I thought was sweet.
The third time, I brought my boyfriend because he loves burgers too and I knew he would love this place. I was right, he enjoyed everything about it, especially his double cheeseburger. He said that the ingredients are such high quality and it tasted homemade in the best way. He liked the crinkle fries too and we agreed that those usually aren't our favorites but this place was an exception. I got the bulgogi burger without any vegetables or sauce and the patty just speaks for itself in terms of taste, marinated well and delicious. It's definitely a place to come back to, and I think about it often.

By far the best burgers near or far. Dave and his family are so nice and friendly. I just love to go and visit them. (Adding grilled mushrooms or onions to your burger is delicious also) Try calling ahead to get your burger faster. They aren’t fast food they are freshly made to order.

My BF had the bacon cheese burger, and he was absolutely shocked at how good it was. I ordered the Kimchi Burger, and I ordered a Level 10 spice. Both of the gentlemen behind the counter TRIPLE CHECKED on the spice level because Level 10 is HOT. I can confirm that Level 10 is, in fact, very spicy, like 2 hours later, my lips were still tingling HOT, but such a great burger, and very messy in the best possible way!! It's one of the best burgers I've EVER eaten. This place is TINY, MAYBE seating for 20 in total, but they pack a punch. The food was excellent and certainly worth the trip to Cornelius. I highly recommend you call ahead to order so you don't have to wait too long.
