This was our second time at Forge but it first time for dinner. It did not disappoint. Make sure you go hungry. The portions are huge. The ribs were tender and the BBQ sauce was tasty. I had the collard greens and fried Mac and cheese and they were yummy. We also had the crab cake and beef stroganoff which were both wonderful. Our server Derrell was a superstar and Kimberly made kicking drinks. we will definitely be back. I see shrimp and grits in my future. My husband and I visited here for lunch after searching for restaurants who served shrimp and grits. We were seated shortly after arriving. It was a nice atmosphere with tvs and good music. It was so many great choices on the menu so we opted for the scallops for our appetizer and a side of collard greens.They were so juicy and flavorful. I ordered the crispy chicken and waffles which were served with pecans. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. We were not disappointed! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area looking for a great meal. We can't wait to go back to enjoy more of this menu! Dropped in for lunch today. We were greeted enthusiastically by the lovely Kim. The crab cake was fabulous; better than most of the better known Chesapeake area restaurants. The collard green were to die for. The BLT was a delightful twist on a traditional BLT. And Kim gave us two to-go cups of ice tea. We’ll be returning soon! Had a great experience here. The food was excellent and clearly homemade. The staff was amazing. We felt like we knew Kim for ages and she treated us like family. We definitely will be back!
