Galambos is outstanding. The couple working the truck are sweet and humble. I visited Budapest in 2017 (I try to work this into every conversation) and this food instantly took me back. The fry bread or Langos is TO DIE FOR. You simply cannot order food without ordering the Langos. The goulash had so much flavor. The paprikash with homemade spaetzle? Good lord it was delicious. This was our second time here we drove in from Waco Texas. The first time we had it we were blown away on how delicious and wholesome this food was. We had to drive back just to experience it all over again with more time. We showed up right before they closed so we called our order in. It was hot fresh and ready by the time we got there. The atmosphere was beautiful the mall was still open so you could see people passing by. The stars were out and it was the perfect temperature for an outdoor date night experience! There were beautiful lights outside and a table in a corner waiting for us. The couple that runs the food are so warm and welcoming. The food is like someone's grandmother is back there making it specifically for you in Hungary ❤️! Before this we have never had Hungarian food, I recommend everyone try it! The chicken paprikash and banana Nutella are our favorites! We plan on trying everything on the menu over time! The best Hungarian food I’ve had outside of Hungary. The kindest couple runs the food truck. They’ve been in Texas for 8 years living the American dream. The food was so authentic and so delicious. Before yesterday I had never had any Hungarian food. I saw a video talking about this place and I decided to give it a try. The people who run the place are very nice, and after I had ordered gave me a free Hungarian coffee. It was much tastier than the coffee I usually get and didn’t even need sugar. The Langos was delicious and super flavorful (beware the langos breath) The homemade sausage was amazing with the special mustard. I’ve never been one for sausage or mustard but they go together so well! It was honestly probably the best sausage I’ve ever had. Best food truck in Austin! Came for the potatoes, left with a love for Hungarian Langos!! I love Navajo fry bread, and this was the closest that I've had that didn't come out of my own kitchen in over 20 years. Toppings were completely different, but amazing nonetheless. We had the Retro Langos, complete with sour ream, cheese and red onion. Not just measly bits of chopped red onion, but nice, thick rings or red onion - and a lot of it!! Wish I had a picture, but it was mostly devoured by the time I thought of it. Will definitely be back, probably this weekend. Oh and best place to get some water - was only $1.
