We had a lot of fun here. The bartender was not as friendly. She gave me a broken dollar from her drawer and refused to exchange it. As we were playing hot spot, I felt I was bothering her the 2 times I had to put in my numbers. Our waiter was awesome and the food was great!! We still had a lot of fun. Had the best night tonight! Alexia was amazing. 10/10 the best service I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. The food was amazing, and so were the drinks but she definitely made the experience so much better than it would have been. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Enjoyed my first visit to Gnats! Great place to visit with family and collage students! The drinks are fantastic & cheep & beer! Ordered the Eagles Gnatchos with totts! Incredible!!! Gnats is my favorite place is states boro. Went for brunch today and had Gibson as our bartender. He was friendly, personable, and really cool. All the staff is amazing and the food is always good! I am a Georgia Southern student and have always heard great things about Gnats. So today I tried it for the first time by placing a to go order. The staff was so friendly and nice, seems like a great atmosphere. However, I ordered the shrimp and grits. And when I got home and was so excited to eat my food, I opened the container and there was a huge portion of grits... and a total of FOUR shrimp. Four. That seems a bit ridiculous considering it's $15. I feel like it should have at least 8-10, given the large portion of grits, and since every other shrimp and grits I've tried at other places has 10-20 pieces. Like I'm sorry but only FOUR pieces of shrimp? Just really disappointed, as shrimp and grits is my favorite food and I was so excited to try it here. It tasted great and would've been fantastic if there was a normal amount of shrimp. Not trying to be that person, as I never leave reviews, but this was just disappointing. Got the mushrooms and they was very good but small. Ordered the fish platter with onion rings with the pasta. The fish was mushy could not even pick it up with a fork, and the onion rings had no batter and you could ring the the oil out of them the worse I have ever had in 56 years of my life. But because of Loren the bar tender being so awesome I will give them a second chance. I passed this restaurant during the day and thought it might be a nice new spot for my husband and I to try out. The restaurant looked nice. When we went on a Friday night I knew it would be packed but it was ridiculously PACKED which lead me to believe maybe the food was awesome. The parking lot situation was awful. It was a bit tight and small with no parking available. We had to park in the lot of the restaurant next to it. We waited for a table about 30 min which was fine because it was busy. Our waitress was fairly nice no issues there. However I asked for a shrimp quesadilla and got chicken. My Cesar Salad taste old and was very moist (not from the dressing). The marinara sauce that came with our app was chunky. My husbands meal looked like something from the kids menu. We eventually put our food in a to go containers and left. Our food wasn’t great but the staff was nice. Again it was busy, the restaurant looks nice, and the atmosphere was family friendly.
