That reuben! Woowee! The meat was piled high, the kraut was tangy, and the sauce had a little kick of heat. I fancy myself a reuben connoisseur, and this one hit it out of the ballpark. The Voodoo chips were a great compliment, as well.
The alleyway location with the walk-up window made it feel casual and exclusive at the same time. I would have loved to sit and enjoy my meal there, but the alley is pretty cold because it doesn't get much sunlight, even on an unseasonably warm winter afternoon. There aren't many tables, anyway, but I did find a 2-top open in the Lyric entryway.
The service was exceptional. They were genuinely happy to hear how much I enjoyed my lunch, and gave many thank yous for my visit. Can't wait to go back!
