What a great restaurant. We had really good service and the food was excellent. The location though - walking down the stairs into essentially a cave with beautiful lighting and thoughtfully designed. It’s quite small and intimate and a special dining experience.

What an amazing experience. Having lived in Malta ten years ago, how much has changed. However, it is for the better. The food was amazing and the service even better. Michael had great knowledge about wines and Greg knows his food. Definitely book this place, but when I say book, I meen book as it fills up fast. Great place outside the tourist areas.

The serving staff were phenomenal and really made the experience. That said, the food was just okay, and we had much better meals at other (less expensive) restaurants in Malta. The cave ambience was nice, but much smaller than anticipated. Overall it was an okay meal, made better by funny and attentive servers, but it's not a restaurant I would recommend for what we paid for it.

In a nutshell,
- the dining experience, paired with the historic background in the cave is amazing
- service was nice and friendly, but nothing personal or individual (every customer gets the same story). Not very accommodating individual requests
- drinks, the pairing was nice but also average. Disappointed of their cocktails.
- food was disappointing for a restaurant like this. The meat was very chewy and flavorless, the chocolate average… in short, flat, nothing that would really pop out and excites your taste buds.
