I typically go get coffees why so weak from the location. But I always end up having a problem with a girl that is either working or is behind the counter off the clock. Today she was wearing all black with leggings and came in with some sort of attitude. To appoint that her own co workers made a soft joke and she did not reply. They said she must have not heard it and I said. Yeah it looks like it didn't hit just right. Her response was to either attack me with words because of what somebody else said , but to bark at me and tell me that the joke wasn't for me to be a part of was not her place. I was a part of the joke because they are customer service employees and it involved everybody around because everybody was involved with the conversation. She walked through the middle of the store , with a raging attitude that her own coworkers had to make a comment about. I hope you guys can fix the customer service with this employee. A very cozy and beautiful local coffee shop in the downtown of Gardner, Kansas. It is located in a very old and historic building. Wood floors and a decorative ceiling make you feel like you are stepping back into time somewhat. Every time I come inside it has a great aroma of coffee in the air (as you’d expect). I ordered the iced brown cow and it was really good. Not too sweet and also not too heavy on coffee. The chocolate chip muffin was just okay. It wasn’t anything special honestly, but this is a coffee shop after all and not a bakery so that’s alright. Maybe you’d enjoy them more than I did. I recommend stopping here if you enjoy old buildings and good coffee. It’s also a local business unique to the city of Gardner and I go to these establishments over Starbucks or any other chain. Great coffee spot in downtown Gardner. I really liked the coffee as did others. We also had a tea drinker in the group and they really liked it. Service was friendly and fast. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is they weren't serving food (like their breakfast burrito) at 10:30am on a Sunday. We were told they stop serving that food after 10am. On the weekend???
