Service and Atmosphere are always top notch. Sushi is some of the best I've had in Duluth and the ramen is also excellent. My friends and I will often come here when making trips to Duluth. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is my husband and I’s favorite Japanese place in Duluth! It’s amazing and the food never disappoints. Happy hour has the best deals and we can always try something new for a decent price. We love the sushi, fried rice, habachi, gyoza, and the rolls! I also want to thank the staff, they provide speedy service and are happy to make suggestions. Just be advised, the oyster appetizer is pre shucked and placed on shells. Good, but just fyi. Their “Omakase” is just a selection of nigiri and sashimi instead of the traditional individual chefs choice items you may be used to. Standard pieces without any special versions. Dimly lit with low-if music at the right volume. Trendy modern/traditional Japanese themed art. Service was great, kitchen knocked it out of the park! Drinks were delicious and there is a happy hour menu. Prices are more than fair. The rice is seasoned well, a must for sushi. Fun menu with more than just delicious sushi. Shared a meal here with my partner on a Monday night. Enjoyed the selection of spirits, including soju and imported beer. Our server Will made an excellent appetizer suggestion. I wanted to love the place. The establishment is nice and clean. Our server was super sweet. I ordered sweet potato tempura, pork gyoza, chicken miso ramen, and a crazy tuna roll. The best part of the meal was the gyoza but it was cold-- probably dueto waiting on the sweet potatoes. The crazy tuna roll was listed as spicy, and there was no spice to it. It also had more of a fishy taste than I prefer in tuna rolls. The ramen was good, but they overcooked the egg, and the broth was okay but a little on the salty side. I also ordered a dirty Shirley as a drink, but the bartender did not want to make it and encouraged a mocktail, which I tried but honestly tasted like a strawberry lemonade and I was not a fan. The portions were good and the pricing seems fair. However, I do not believe I will return. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The place was packed and we still got sat and served so fast! We ordered the muscles and miso soup to start and we literally can’t get over how good the muscles were! We also got the superior roll and the northern roll. Delicious! The food came very quickly and it was very reasonably priced. We ordered the Ramen, some rolls and the mochi ice cream. This was my 2nd time here and both times were awesome! Johnathan was our server and he really made the experience both times, helping us with recommendations and just being so personable and fun! This place was great! The server was amazing!!!! My server was so kind as well. Such a gentleman! The wait for a table wasn't long and I didn't mind waiting. The place is small but super cozy. They had low music playing so it was disruptive as all. I ordered the tako Yaki and oysters as the appetizers. Tako Yaki was good, I did however have a piece of almost tawed octopus. I didn't mind. They were hot so the cold piece was welcomed. The oysters tasted great! They came with some spicy sauce that was divine!!!! OMG!!! I don't know what it was made of but as a fan of spicy foods, I was in heaven!!!! For my main I didn't know what to picked so I picked the sushi platter. Came with a little of everything and I enjoyed every piece of it!!! I wanted a drink and when I wasn't sure what to have he suggested a mango drink. It was so amazing!!! Perfect with the spicy oysters! I can't remember the second drink I got but that wad also amazing. Total came to $111 and come change not bad at all. 10/10 highly recommen! The parking if off street parking, not sure if they had a lot but I didn't have trouble finding parking. Only problem I had was the uphill walk back to my car. It wasn't there fault plus it helped me burn the calories I had just consumed. Win win for me!!! Service was phenomenal and the food exceptional! We had a great experience all around. The server was friendly and gave us a great sushi recommendation. The ramen here, although simple in its ingredients, was extraordinary! We were truly surprised by the sheer quality and freshness. Definitely a recommended place to visit when you're in town!
