Nicest restaurant we have been to in a month in Turkiye. Very fresh fish, charming service, fun space. Not inexpensive but not crazy pricey for İstanbul area. Do not skip the many fascinating dishes in their prepared foods deli case. Karaburun is pretty much shut down in the off season but Halimeli was hopping and delighted to see us both times we went. Good quality food. Overcharged for fish, likely because I was viewed as a foreigner. Beware of their policy of charging by the kg. I was charged for 0.8 kg of fish ($40) when my portion was likely half that. I can get a dish at the best seafood restaurant in Manhattan for what they charged. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Looked at the comments before coming here. Unfortunately, of what my wife and I tried, we only liked the fish soup, and my wife liked the salad. The squid was like chewing gum, the hot halva was burnt on the top, and the toast was too overcooked for me, that’s my opinion. The second time I spent an excellent evening here. Everything is on top level. The food: everything you choose, be sure that is super-tasty. The service: just relax and enjoy your dinner and companionship, the staff takes care of every detail.
