Went for a bite before my flight. The place was not crowded, the service offered by Melody was fast and friendly. My BBQ bacon burger was good, the only complaint I have is the home made BBQ sauce: for my taste it was way too much sugar inside. Very tasty burger and fries in a comfortable atmosphere. It's a perfect place to wait for a flight and I think often in airports quality of food and service is sacrificed because everyone is in a rush but I really didn't think that was the case here. We were just after a couple of beers whilst waiting for the flight, which I guess they delivered on pretty well. Being a bar/restaurant right in the middle of the station with no windows it felt a little like you were having a beer in the duty free shop but surrounded by TV screens showing all of that classic rock they're renowned for. The beer selection was pretty decent and they even had a decent amount of usb sockets for your electrical devices which is always handy. Great service and cozy place to chill while waiting for your flight. We ordered coffee and homemade apple cobbler, we were surprised the cobbler was big. The milk shake, is really just chocolate milk. A bit disappointing. 😞 The cheese fries were disappointingly small, and came covered in chives…no just no. (And no, that wasn’t mentioned on the menu) Got the brownie sundae and 3 of us were eating it, and this much still melted. See photo. The whipped cream did not taste good, not sure if they have their own recipe, but it was not good. The whipped cream even was flat on the chocolate shake. They forgot our drink (bottled water), which I asked for 2 more times, then came warm…. I’d expect more from this overpriced chain, even in a foreign country. The people working there were nice. Came during the morning, so only a limited menu. Still took 15 minutes for the food to get out, they didn't have the drink I wanted (mango tango). Staff was a bit confused, witnessed the manager having a go on one of the bar staff. The food was decent, had better, but I wasn't expecting much. We came here before our flight back home and it was good to sit somewhere with a chilled out vibe. It was still pretty early in the morning, so grabbing some coffee and breakfast at this place was the right call. No complaints, the staff were pretty good, plenty of spaces, exactly what you want before a flight.
