Heard this place has good burgers so I thought I would try it! Stopped 3 different times and each time I was told the same thing, "it will be about 1/2 hour wait"! Let me add that this place only has an outside order window! No facilities indoors! Don't know how good the burgers are but they can't be that good! Nostalgia at its best! If you like thin burgers and steamed buns you will be happy. A bit of a dive but it brings back childhood memories! I would much rather patronize someplace that has stood the test of time and keeps prices low vs a fancy atmosphere with high prices for only ok food. Onion rings were phenomenal!

I had heard so many good things about this place and had been trying to eat here a little hard to pin down. I'm glad that I was persistent and finally made it when they were open. The food is nothing fancy but it is pure delicious. There is no indoor seating but they take you a number when you order and they call you when your food is ready. I forgot to get cash before I came (this place is cash only) but the person at the counter took my order and directed me to the closest ATM. Within 5 minutes of coming back from the ATM My food was ready! I highly recommend this place. My one note is, if you order the raw onions, be prepared for a lot of raw onions. I love this place! I've been coming to this place ever since I was a kid. Burgers are amazing! I had a double loaded cheese burger. A true Mainer can appreciate this place...lol Staff is great!!! The terrible reviews on this place are pretty hysterical. They're usually busy, because it's good and people like it. The food is decent, but simple. You get exactly what they have on the menu, amd if that's what you want you won't be disappointed. I do love this place! Simple and delicious and consistently good. Bring cash, no credit cards. I don't get to eat here much anymore as I've moved a distance away, I still get in every couple of months. 1st time back in a couple of years, no more dining inside. They now have a walk up window, not a fan of this. Food was the same though. Similar experience today, calling ahead is the way to go.

Small burger and hot dog stand that did not disappoint. Their onion rings were to die for super lightweight and crispy. Friendly staff and is cash only.

Cash Only! I've eaten here for a long time. This place is delicious. Mustard, relish and cooked onions on these doubles :) Thick chocolate frappe, hand cut fries and onion rings
