5-13-2022 - I recently shopped last night. And I noticed they brought back the security alert. I remember speaking to one of the managers about that and he told me that the store is going to stop it. Well they brought it back. Walking to the store I noticed if there are three black customers and one owl you hear that alert pop up. Not good Harris teeter!! Well I'll go shop somewhere else. Enjoy your security alert. Previous notes. : Is Harris Teeter, prices are always a little higher. But the quality of the food is good. Sign up to save. 12/31/2022 - Chicken wings come from Ukraine? So why are there $8 to $11 per package?
I found my new favorite thing: discount rack near the bakery. You never know what you are going to find and some of the deals are excellent and occasionally some of the deals are lackluster (they had potatoes for then same or higher price per lbs than those on the regular shelf). There are good deals on meat here occasionally.
I want to say Mr.Trent that worked at Register 4 on 2/26/23 at 7:00pm is a huge blessing to this company and has a big heart I will forever remember you. I can’t say thank you enough I really appreciate that blessing.
I stopped shopping at all the Harris Teeters in the Prosperity Church Road area due to customer service and out of stock issues. My wife uses the Cochran Commons store pharmacy, so occasionally, I will stop in to pick up prescriptions for her. This is undoubtedly the poorest excuse for a pharmacy I have ever seen. If you can ever get any help, good luck. The pick up area has so many computer screens, signage, etc., that you can never see the person waiting on you. And if you are at the pickup area waiting and someone else comes up to the drop-off area, they will be waited on first because this is where the associates are usually physically located. This has happened two days in a row to me, but never again. I'm sure the gentlemen that walked in and got service immediately will write a great review and I will have to write a poor review. I'm sure management will look at this as a wash and consider this acceptable. All I can say is I took my grocery and pharmacy shopping to the nearby Publix and eliminated the customer service headaches. I do feel like I pay a little more at Publix than HT, but it's truly worth it!

I placed an online cake order for a Birthday celebration. Received confirmation that the order was received. The day of pick up I received several text messages saying my order is ready. Get to the store. Give my name and I am told oh they didn't make it. Then the guy says pick a cake and I can write a message. They'll probably give you the cake free since it wasn't ready. Well there was no traditional cake there for me to select in its place so I'm left scrambling to find a cake somewhere else which I didn't enjoy nearly as much as I would have the cake I wanted. I submitted a comment online to customer service. No response. Big disappointment. Thought I should warn others.
Great food selection, the quality of the produce is some of the best I've seen in any supermarket before! Some front end staff members could present themselves better as far as their attitude toward each other. Issues tend to present themselves publicly, eroding the great experience created from the clean store and great produce.

Nice store but the CSM sabah s. Has been at this HT forever and shes really strict towards her customers. And doesn't provide outstanding service. Spoke with Kevin the store manager now they want to fix it the overcharge on my receipt!Been a loyal customer for years. Customer service has gone downhill
Very clean and the fruits and vegetables look fresh. They also have a good bakery and a nice selection of backed goods. The attendants were really nice and helpful when I needed help. The cashier went above her duty to help me when I forgot my wallet at home.
This store always appears to be well maintained and stocked. My concern is that there seems to be fewer and fewer cashiers at the registers, funneling peoples that want to get in and out waiting for others who are self checking out with a cart of groceries. Unfair.

The Deli needs to have Calvin removed as he is unfriendly, unsanitary and its on every encounter with him. I came in to order a sub 3 different days, one day he had to be called from the freezer, he came out , closed the freezer, sneezed wiped his head and proceeded to take my order and when he reached for the bread wearing the same gloves ( as I was giving him the opportunity to be sanitary without direction) he just did all things mentioned in, I had to stop him and ask him to change his gloves and wash his hands and asked him 2xs as he seemed quite confused about my request. He was unfriendly and his entire attitude was very much as if he could careless about anything. My other 2 encounters were similar with me having to ask him to change gloves and wash his hands. Calvin should be a stock person only with no customer interactions as he has zero customer service skills and because of his actions he has cost you 2 customers, myself and a co worker who has had the same experience, also on multiple occasions. I will not be frequenting the Deli here if Calvin is on shift. Be blessed.
