Mexican cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous at this place. Nothing can be better than tasting perfectly cooked chicken enchiladas, salsa & chips and soft tacos. This place is known for good beer, margaritas or wine. Here you may drink great ice tea or delicious coffee. This restaurant is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Also, visitors recommend Herbert's Taco Hut because of reasonable prices. You will certainly appreciate the calm atmosphere and modern decor. This place scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

The Food was delicious. It looks a bit rundown but those are usually the best places to go eat. Chips and queso was great. Enchiladas and burritos are very tasty. Our waitress was very nice and courteous. Love the local feel of the place too. Their gravy is definitely a must! Will definitely be back! I felt like I had been there before until I tasted the caso. I don't know what yall do differently than other restaurants, but they should be getting their cheese from yall. I poured it on everything, lol My enchiladas were great, too. I've been a loyal fan of Herbert's since 1981. The food and service has always been consistent. My go-to order is either beef or cheese enchiladas depending on my mood. Everyone else decided to come here today. There was about a 20 minute wait at 2pm, but so, so worth it. Herbert's might have the best tasting enchilada gravy anywhere. My Regular Dinner was hot, delicious and came out in just a few minutes after ordering. This place is a classic. Don't.fret.over a wait. It won't be long before you are eating. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed this place. The food was great, the service was lightning-fast, and the prices were more than fair. Each member of our party of 4 cleaned his or her plate in rather spectacular fashion as the was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our waiter brought us our food literally within 5 minutes of ordering, had ice-cold adult beverages to us almost instantly, and was otherwise quite attentive, too. As for cost and value, the former was low and the latter was high. I would have happily paid twice the price for the overall experience. We're from out of town (Fort Worth, so we know Tex-Mex extremely well), but we can't wait to go back. Such a great experience!
