Wow Wow, best bakery on the island!! I had just returned from a trip to New York City and not even the bakeries up there compare. I was heading home to Georgia and the ladies even boxed up a nice box to keep everything cold!! If you skip on this special spot..you're missing out. What an amazing little café - from the people to the lattes and croissants. It’s a little piece of Paris on a southern island. I drove 8 hours from the DC area to spend a week in HHI, and this was the first place I stopped. It's a must every time I visit the island. We would travel back to HHI for no other reason than to go back to this bakery. Very kid friendly, wonderful environment, and the only thing better than the food was the staff that was serving it. Our family stopped in on a whim and then again the next day and the next! It's truly an absolute gem. The biggest disappointment to our family leaving HHI wasn't the beaches or the weather.... it was leaving this bakery and the lovely people who run it!
