We had a great meal here. Very good flavours and quick service. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodation. Rice gets 0 stars. White bleached, no flavour whatsoever. Garlic Nan bread gets 2 stars. I have had real good indian Nan taste experience other places. Himalaya Indian Restaurant was such a joyous experience during my stay in Horten! The love that owners have for cooking food is clearly reflected in mouthwatering dishes. The owners always greeted me with enthusiasm and made me feel like their own family. One big surprise was use of technology to prepare the food so food quality was always consistent. This is the best Indian meal i've ever had. We were 4 friends eating out tonight. Where 1 don't like spicy food, 2 medium and one on with a firextinguisher on hold :-) and we all left satisfied. The restaurant is a family business. They all are service minded and eager to give you a good evening. This seems to be a popular restaurant, so i would reservate a table or call before hand. The best was the tutorial, by request, about genuine indian food and beer. (Cobra and King Cobra). A slightly better location (bigger and more spaceious) location, would be perfect. We will come back.

Dara and his family do a great job. The food is always very good, with friendly service and great ambience. I’ve been going so long they no longer give me a menu! If you go, ask about the technology they employ; it’s very impressive.
