Late nite Naval military themed restaurant/bar in downtown Bremerton with a lot of Naval memorabilia that is home also to an interesting bartender. First time visiting it was packed but people were leaving so we sat down on the table that the people had just left and the bartender Kat (who i was warned about) yelled at us saying itll be a while before i clean your table and get you service. Didnt faze us since we went barhopping and most places dont serve food😄 So we yelled back no problem and waited. Wasnt in a rush. She came back eventually, cleaned up the table and took our drink and food order. The food considering its Bremerton isnt bad, their steak, burgers, and fish n chips are good for their price. They look short staffed with one waitress in the front and the bartender in the backside. Cute little place with great burgers! Really enjoyed all the photos of naval ships. The videos were so interesting! Staff was friendly and quick to serve our table. Appreciated the suggestions offered. Beer was ice cold and hit the spot. We just stopped in quick before attending the New Years Eve Spike and the Impalers concert. We would definitely stop in to Horse & Cow on our next visit to the fun town of Bremerton!!! Our family had 2 incredible meals here on our visit to Bremerton. The food was incredible and even better was the service of our waitress! She had impeccable customer service and was incredibly kind. I wish I would’ve caught her name but I remember she also worked another job as a dental hygienist. Let her know the Canadian tourists appreciate her service and we will happily recommend others to this fabulous place for drinks, food, and service! This place has a lot of historic memorabilia from boats & ships of the neighboring shipyard. Menu is great. Burgers, salads, steak, pizza, wings, baked potatoes, lots to choose from. Many beers on tap plus a full bar for mixed drinks. They carry a fun bright green drink called Nuke Waste. I didn't try it but I was told it has a melon flavor. Great place to hang out with friends. The food here never disappoints. I know a lot of people love the wings, but in my opinion, they still have one of the best burgers in town. Their drink options are great. The servers are always friendly, but are usually very busy. Don’t go here if you are in a rush; it’s best to show up and enjoy the wall decorations and company while you wait for your food. We were there during the BlackBerry Festival, and the restaurant was extremely busy. Wait staff was working exceptionally hard and with all the demands she still checked in on us regularly. Food was fine, we all had a burger, tots and onion rings were over cooked. I’d be willing to go back and try again when they weren’t so overwhelmed, and would bet the food would be of a higher quality. Vibe was cool with all the ship paraphernalia and Photographs. Cool place. Food was nothing special, normal bar food with some items on the higher side of pricing. There was only one server that we saw in the front area where we sat, so service could have been quicker. But no fault on the server she was great and as attentive as she could be with how busy the place was. Stopped into Horse and Cow for wings and beer this afternoon. We all got something different, wings come in bone-in and boneless, I found the boneless to be very dense and on the hard side, the bone-in wings were as expected. There were at least 30 beers on tap. There was only one server in the main room and outside seating area, so service was understandably impacted. Legendary submarine bar and grill. One of two (the other is in Guam). The food is nothing special (just like underway), but the atmosphere is like walking through submarine history. The clientele has many sub vetrans, and many boats have events here, so if you're interested in submarine culture... this might be the best place to go in the entire continental US! The menu references submarine slang and (while nothing to write home about) is pretty good. The staff is above and beyond awesome even when they are busy with customers. The bar is great and they rotate beers out of 32 taps. Their signature beverage is "Nuke Waste" which is a delicious mixture of vodka and juice, but it's neon green high in alcohol content and is a reference to a smart sailor who failed out of Navy Nuke school and had a great life not knowing how close to doom they were. Great burgers and awesome wings combined with a large drink menu This is a great place to hang out and relax. There's a lot to look at as they have a ton of Navy memorabilia on the walls.
