The business model has changed since they've reopened (take out only, open Wed through Friday) but the food is still the best around. The chicken pot pie is addictive and big enough to feed two people. My chicken Caesar salad was one of the best I've had recently. Check their Facebook page for hours and the menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I have been here a couple of times and the food was always delicious! I do wish they had a bigger menu, though. Last time I went with my friend, the waiter was clearly on drugs. His eyes were as big as baseballs, he was frigidity and acting very strange. I will say, it made for a very entertaining dinner service.

Had the Humble (beef Shepard's pie). It was a mix of sweet beef, buttery mashed potatoes, and melted cheese. Lovely decor, chill atmosphere.

Stopped here while traveling through because I had been told they do well with gluten free. Waitress was knowledgeable about GF, food was all hearty and delicious. Service was very slow, but the waitress looked like she was the only one there. We were eager to get back on the road, so this was an unexpected delay.

Two stars because the wait staff were very friendly, but we arrived at 7:45 and the tables and chairs were all stacked against the wall for an "after closing" event well before 8:30. Closing time was 9. The uproar of packing began before we'd even received our dinner. Our server said, "We don't want you to rush" when offering dessert and seemed to think it odd that we didn't feel like staying after spending our whole meal having the restaurant being converted to a dance hall around us. The food was palatable but all on par with a school lunch counter and considerably overpriced. We believed the good reviews and tried them out. Maybe the regular cook was tied up with event preparation? We cannot recommend the experience to others.

The Humble Pie was very delicious! What great tasting food. The prices are amazing for the portions. The service is incredible. I won't forget to mention the desserts, oh my! Homemade deliciousness all around. Keep up the excellent work!

Met some friends here for a bite to eat, first time visitor. I was pleasantly surprised by the small, intimate tables and funky, down home feel. The waitress quickly set us up with drinks and we reviewed the menu. Nice selection of hearty, simple fare. I chose the special, a grilled tuna Caesar salad. The lettuce was crisp, the dressing very light, and the chunk of tuna well-prepared and tasty. I was pleased with my meal and would certainly return.

This is the best place for comfort food. The food is delicious. I often go in thinking that I know exactly what I want, but I always seem to end up getting one of their creative specials. The staff is great and I recommend the peanut butter pie. I’ve had the pleasure of having a private party here and many people had never been, but they all left making plans to come back. Wish I could give more that 5 stars.

Comfort food at its finest! Smaller menu, but everything is great - you won't go wrong with any item you choose. Personal favorite is the Shepherd's pie. Waitress is a riot, service is fast and friendly, prices are a bargain for food of this quality.
