If you are looking for Halal food, this is not the place. Go vegetarian. They have good options in the menu.

Let's start with positive points: the staff are friendly, they serve relatively quick and they serve tap water which is not very common in most of restaurants. However, I had higher expectations from the food and atmosphere. The appetizer was ok but the food was below average. The chicken did not taste fresh to me and it was dry. The atmosphere of the restaurant needs extreme improvement. The tables were not properly cleaned and the food from the next table was not removed. It seems that the restaurant is run as a family business and I am sure with some improvements in the food and atmosphere they can get better.

This little gem is located in the city of Rijswijk. They have both take out and in house dining but patrons be aware these have different prices. I've only had food from the take out menu. The kip cashew is simply fantastic! When ordering, skip the white rice that comes with it and pay 2,50 extra for the nasi djawa. It has small pieces of chicken and can be a meal in itself. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
