Visiting for my sister's birthday, we had a small group of us, and my sister was in a terrible car accident at an early age and has difficulty getting around and among other things, they went out of their way to help us make her 56th birthday very special and she is still talking about it. We brought her a small cake which they took from us without us even needing to ask and served it to everyone with a smile and helped us sing. Was very appreciative of that. I had the chicken parmesan as did my brother, we both that it was great and cleaned our plates. Drink prices were reasonable, and our waitress was an absolute pleasure to have helping us. My husband and I really like this place. They served us bread that was very fresh and so good. We ordered an Italian sub sandwich that was big enough for both of us. We also had an order of french fries. Everything was hot and tasted so good. The waitress was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. We tried it for the first time.we went in for appetizers and beer. It was very good. I had the soup of the day, it was very good, my husband had the calamari. This restaurant has definitely upped its game since a remodel and name change. The food is of higher quality and some interesting new adds to the menu, which is appreciated. Cool place. Clean and looks good. Food was 3 stars because the first half of the dish was delicious. Food was 3 stars because the 2nd half of the dish was rough. Here is why..cheese is lovely. However, there can be too much. I ordered pasta sampler with a side of meatballs. What arrived was a non-descript bubbly dish of pasta and sauce with more cheese, mozzarella mostly, than I have ever seen. Same for my wife's dish. I expected 3 different pasta presentations, but it was all in a bowl of sorts. Weird. It was good tasting but dang...seriously, lightened up on the cheese. I googled eateries in Azle and this sounded del IOU’s so we stopped in. The building is brand new and the decor is very pleasing. Waitress was wonderful and attentive. She brought us warm bread to start with and the stuffed mushrooms we ordered. The mushrooms were hot and the pink sauce was bubbling. We topped it off with Parmesan and crushed peppers. Our entrees came next. The Veal Parmigiana was superb. Very tasty and delicious. I ordered a MD Napoli pizza and the pie was artfully built with fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere, staff is very nice and attentive. Food all around was good. They have decent daily specials and a good assortment of drinks. Complimentary bread was fluffy and buttery. The meals don't come with a side of salad or soup but they can be added. Prices were decent for a nice meal out and you get a decent amount of food even with appetizers.
