Previously, my family and I enjoyed brunch here, but today, I dropped by for a quick to-go muffin. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter had an extremely uptight attitude. Moreover, I witnessed the cook handling the muffin with both hands while wearing only one glove. Due to these experiences, I’ll be avoiding this place for a while. It’s disappointing to encounter rudeness and disregard for sanitary regulations.

Food was good and waitress was nice. However, the owner’s daughter was EXTREMELY nasty! So much so that the waitress made an apology for her poor behavior. Made it a very uncomfortable experience!! We will definitely NOT be returning.

I always enjoyed the food at Javiers but havent been recently. Went today for lunch only to discover they refuse to take credit cards. We had to leave as we had no idea and didn't have cash on us. This policy was in small print on the menu. Its one thing when a place has always been cash only cos we all know then but Javiers has a card machine and I have used a card there before. Ridiculous policy. So went to Crazy Beans where they do take credit cards and the food is yummy and much much less expensive from Javiers which I will now avoid.

Great staff, great food! My favorite for lunch is their chicken salad sandwich. For breakfast the eggs Benedict are great! I absolutely LOVE their home-made iced tea. In the summer the outside seating is really nice. There’s plenty of parking behind the restaurant. And you can enter through the back. This is definitely our favorite breakfast place.

Hidden Gem! Nice place to meet up with friends for a good meal. Lots of choices and daily specials. Never even looked at the menu. First special on the board caught my eye and was delicious. Bacon, asparagus, roasted tomatoes and Munster cheese omelette. Yum! Definitely would go again.

On Friday traveled from blue point for brunch at Javier which was our second visit and most likely our last.
Arrived at 2:25. And yes we knew that they stop serving at 3:00, our server immediately asked what we would like to drink and we said coffee, her response "oh I'm sorry we have no coffee, evidently the pots were cleaned"
What
Not even an offer to make a pot of coffee. Is this customer service?, a way to treat customers that most likely would be spending more than $50.00 for brunch.
So after ordering soft drinks we decided to leave and go to the diner where guess what they have coffee.
Not the way to treat customers 😕
RUSHED NEVER AGAIN!!! STAY AWAY!!! NOT WORTH IT!! I HAVE NEVER FELT SO RUSHED AND STALKED IN MY LIFE. KEEP YOUR WAY OF "COST DOING BUSINESS TO YOURSELF"
