BEST ONION RINGS I've had since Cheddar's discontinued theirs. These rings are so so good. Their regular French toast woulda been great, but they use either nutmeg or clove? I think it's nutmeg. And they are way too heavy handed with it so that's all you can taste. I'm not a fan of nutmeg, though. The cinnamon roll French toast is delicious. Breakfast is always delightful @ Jimmie's! Our poodle skirt adorned waitress was extra attentive and personable to all of her tables, not just us, despite having a broken toe or two, her service was impeccable! Side items were substituted for keto eating! Prices are decent, all the food has always been great at Jimmie's over the years! This place is a classic 50s vibe and a Wichita staple. However, some of the food quality has gone downhill. The meatloaf is to die for, but my mashed potatoes had crunchy bits where it had sat in a bin under a heat lamp for hours. Atmosphere is adorable 50s diner but a bit dingy. Four traveling work colleagues went in for breakfast, no one had a complaint about the food or service. The pancakes were fluffy, eggs all cooked to order and good sausage gravy. Two of us loved the old diner feel and flipped through the music selection at the table. Two weren't old enough to appreciate a simpler time when you gathered together in a diner like this to see your neighbors or hang out with friends. True diner experience! Mini jukeboxes on each table allow you to pick music right from your booth. Food is always great! Wait staff is always accommodating and friendly. My kids fight over the onion rings and love the chicken and waffles. Malts are always a treat!
