It's still a great restaurant, maybe even better after the change in ownership!
I really appreciate the update to the look of their menu. Don't worry, they still have the same great breakfast selection and burger selection!
Friendly staff (no complaints), decent food, and I've rarely ever had to wait to be seated. There is a bar, but it has never posed an obstacle for one of their main goals of being family friendly.
There is a smaller parking lot that is typically full during meal times. I've only had an issue finding a spot twice in the 8+ years I've been going here.
There is handicap parking. The doors do not have a handicap accessibility button, they are pull only doors. The environment is typically not loud or distracting. It is a great local restaurant.
I would recommend all-American breakfast, waffles, pancakes, their cheese curds, and the build your own burger. They make great pies, my personal favorites are the cherry and the French silk pies.

Good food and good service. The place was crazy busy but our server still made time to talk to us. Manager came by a couple times to see how we were doing since the wait was long. Will go there again when in the area next year for the snow sculpting contest.

YES! They understood the assignment. Very happy with our visit to Joseph's tonight. Cecilia was amazing and attentive, very friendly. The food was excellent. They had a ribeye special that wasn't on the menu, so I ordered that, and was not disappointed. The mashed potatoes came out with a pool of delicious butter. YUM!! One of the BEST Bloody Mary's I've ever had!! The prices are very reasonable. Very comfortable and clean. We will be back. Highly recommended!

Joseph's offers great home-cooked food at very reasonable prices. I got a cheese, mushroom and onion omelet, hash browns and two small pancakes - all delicious! My husband got steak and eggs, toast and fresh fruit - for under $16.99!! The steak was prepared exactly as ordered and was also yummy;

The place was nice and service was great. The food was good. The broasted chicken was really good. The seasoned vegetables ended up just being green beans with almonds. They were good though. The whiskey steak was okay. The pie was delicious!

The food was good. I ordered pancakes with eggs. I wasn’t a big fan of the eggs, but the pancakes was delicious. My family and I came in town to visit our family in Star Prairie. A Very lovely restaurant! I highly recommend!

Had an amazing skillet breakfast this morning with a Bloody Mary. The bloody was on point and the skillet was top notch! I don’t eat a lot of bread but the sourdough was excellent. On top of all that, our waitress was a delight. Perfect visit. Thank you!
Been going here for the better part of 10 years and they consistently have great food and service. Good specials and even of you don't like those the regular menu is extensive and everything is great. One of the best breakfast places around. 2023 update: some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Must try.

I had a wonderful experience, a family friend took us here after my boys won a district championship for hockey. There were 7 of us. The waitress was very nice, attentive, kept our glasses filled and our food came out pretty quick. We ordered cheese curds and French fries to start. The fries were crunchy and delicious and the cheese curds were good. A lot of us ordered the broasted chicken dinner, i loved the mashed potatoes and the chicken had good seasonings, moist and juicy. The Canadian Walleye meal wasn't greasy, very crisp and flakey, very delicious.. My son ordered a Belgian waffle and it was big, it came with eggs and bacon plus some strawberry preserves. We ended with some banana cream pie that was one of the best I had. Overall we were all full and satisfied, definitely a place I will visit again.
