This is the second time I gave this bakery a chance. The pastries are very dry and frankly they all taste the same. Disappointing, since they are quite pricey. They look good but are very dry and tasteless. In addition, I did not feel welcome by one woman behind the counter both times. It was like I was an inconvenience to her by being there. On Saturday morning, my husband and I were in the area and decided to look for a bakery around to buy something sweet to find this place of Jems in Cumberland, RI. It was confusing what to buy as they had a wide variety..we ended up buying a DOZEN!. Can't say enough about the freshness and deliciousness of their bakery... it reminded me of the European Pasterrie I used to have back in my mother country. I went here on a whim because Google said it was the closest Italian bakery to me and my husband and I were craving cannoli… we got two regular cannoli and two chocolate ones and these were some of the best cannoli we’ve ever had!
