Nice place, great beer, good food. Had the Big Platter with pork schnitzel and 5 wursts, added the Jägersauce. Definitely shareble portion. Waiter/Bartender was very friendly and quick, nice relaxed atmosphere. They gave me two different types of sausage with my links and mash. The small pork sausage works well with the mash which is what’s supposed to come with the meal, but the other sausage they gave me was not the same. It was not good with the mash and ruined the dish. I don’t blame them I just happened to come here and they ran out of small pork sausage which happens, but it ruined my experience. Hopefully next time is better. We came in with a hungry soccer team and all the parents. It took awhile to get everyone’s order but that wasn’t surprising, we had a LOT of people. Lots of great things on the menu, but it was a late lunch for me so I didn’t go crazy. Everything was very tasty. The “large pretzel “ was huge and fresh, best I’ve ever had. The sausage in a roll (I picked smoked brat” with sauerkraut was wonderful. The small size lemon rocket pasta salad was perfect. I hope I can come back again, for dinner! Omg the pretzel. It’s NOT overrated. It is literally perfect. It is beyond amazing. So soft and tasty. It is perfect with the bier cheese. Did I mention it’s huge! We got the ocktoberfest platter to share and it was more than enough food. I forgot to take a picture of the Ocktoberfest Platter but there are several on here. It’s the plate with the weiner schnitzel and choice of 5 sausages along with sauerkraut and fries. I got a flight of beers and was delighted by the variety the bartender picked out since I wasn’t sure what to get. I would say the Pilsner and Lagers were my favorite but the stout that my partner got was also amazing. The owner came by to make sure everything was okay and I got to practice a little German on her. She was so kind and friendly. Actually all the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.
