First time here- everything was awesome! Service was great, food was great and the portions were huge! I will be sure to come again! Update: 2nd visit- 5 stars again. The food is excellent, especially the avgolemono soup! (I had to Google the spelling lol!) I'll just add that I think Kefi is a "southside hidden gem." You don't have to go downtown or to the western suburbs for awesome Greek food. Great service, unbelievable traditional Greek cuisine, and nice atmosphere. They use high quality extra virgin olive oil and not inflammatory seed oils like some other places. Sea bass was fresh and cooked perfect. Grilled octopus was whole and large portion size. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect. Greek isles in chicago is my favorite and this is equally as good. These guys know what they’re doing.. Saganaki was 10/10. Then got combo plate with gyro and pastiscio (Greek lasagna). The food was amazing! It was flavourful, rich, and appetizing! My whole family really enjoyed this meal. The seating was comfortable and cozy. First time here, but certainly won’t be our last. What a wonderful experience! I have visited Athens, Greece years ago where the food was delicious; this place made me feel as if I was right back in Athens! Everything was superb! Was looking for a Greek experience for a birthday dinner, and I accidentally stumbled across this gem. Savory food, courteous staff, and Kostas was the Best waiter you could ask for; put a smile on everyone's face. Definitely my new go-to location for Greek food or any special occasion. I wanted some grilled Octopus. It was a bit too charred, I had read that in a review before going so next time I will request them to go llight on the char. I added fresh lemon juice and that evened it out a bit. The Pomegranate martini was pretty good too. I had a great waitress too. I was surprised that this place was only up for 5 years. It seems like forever given the traffic it was getting. I had never tried authentic Greek cuisine so this was a first. The inside was very decorated and yet felt like a home environment. The staff was polite and friendly and served me well despite having a stream of people to enter. The staff apologized for my late order but it was fine. (I was in the restaurant service once. Things get hairy when it's busy, I understand.) Nice restaurant, very clean, decent staff, we stopped here one night after work for drinks and saganacki. (1st time for my friends trying flaming cheese) it was absolutely delicious. Drinks were ok, we will have to go back and try some different drinks and more food beside saganacki and Greek potatoes.
