Disappointing Brunch Experience
Visited for brunch and faced issues: agreed to share my table but encountered hasty service. My 5.5 euro juice was wrongly assumed finished thrice, and I had to reclaim it. Felt pressured to protect my food and drinks and order continuously, and my 40-minute stay cost 22 euros while sharing the table with three others.
The rushed experience was discouraging. Encouraged by the people on the table next to me I share my concerns.
Despite championing a sustainable food chain, the disconnect becomes apparent as there is a noticeable lack of investment in the well-being and training of the service staff, highlighting a disconcerting gap between the restaurant’s ethos and its treatment of employees.

My friend, my dog, and I just finished dining at Kek, and everything was fine until we were about to leave. Despite paying upfront at the counter for convenience, we were stopped by two female staff members who aggressively questioned whether we had paid. One even grabbed my friend's elbow, which made us uncomfortable.
We're disappointed with Kek's service. Staff should verify payment internally before confronting customers, and if there are concerns, they should address them politely without physical contact. We won't be returning, and it's concerning if our treatment was influenced by racial biases, as we're Asian women.

After tons of failed attempts I finally managed to have brunch here without having to wait outside! It was really a nice experience. The menu is very interesting and suited for all dietary requirements. The food was tasty and delicious and we didn't have to wait long even though the place was quite full. Nice atmosphere, fresh and relaxing.

Asian Tempeh Sandwich
Kek is a must visit in Delft. The cafe is absolutely beautiful, so much thought goes into every single drink and menu item you order. Presentation is everything here but the food quality and taste is also absolutely excellent!! I would eat here everyday if I could. The staff are so friendly and helpful and my partner and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here for my birthday. So many amazing vegan options, would highly recommend!🌿🌸
